...our Breakfast
The unique dining room welcomes you every morning for a sumptuous continental breakfast buffet. We include fruit juices, choice of cereals, yoghurts, freshly cut fruit salad, cold meats, cheeses, marmalades, jams and honey, many of them from Arran and suitable for Diabetics. Various breads are usually available as well as toasts. We present as well over 20 different teas for you to choose from.
A variety of cooked breakfast is available at additional cost and only if booked in advance.
If you arrive late on the Island and require a late easy meal, we can offer you usually some freshly cut sandwiches or a very easy meal. But ? please ? book that well in advance.

We are not licensed to sell you any alcoholic drinks. So you will have to bring them yourself. We can provide some space in the fridge for white and rosé wines and are pleased to provide you with glasses.

...eating out
Arran has a lot to offer: from formal restaurants to fish n'chips, you find something for everyone. Whiting Bay offers five restaurants: the Trafalgar, one of the best on the Island, the Burlington (closed during the winter), The Beach Hut Bistro, a Chinese Restaurant, two pubs: the Bar Eden (who serve fine Bar meals)
and the Cameronia and one tearoom, the famous Coffee Pot. More places can be found in the neighbouring villages of Kildonan (Kildonan Hotel) and Lamlash (Glenisle and Pier Tea Room) as well as in most other villages. We recommend here especially the Kilmichael Restaurant, Arran's only 5 Star place (closed during the winter), the Auchrannie Garden Restaurant, now called «Eighteen69», Brodick Bar and the Wineport, all in Brodick, the restaurant at the Distillery in Lochranza, the Lagg in Kilmory and the Lighthouse Tearoom in Pirnmill and the Blackwaterfoot Lodge and the Kinloch Hotel in Blackwaterefoot. We like to help you to choose and book a table for you, just ask to assist you.
