A spacious lounge/library gives our guests time to read or write or have some peace before or after dinner or during a colder day. You are welcome to drink your aperitif or the digestive drink after a good meal, so you can share your experiences of the day. As long as you bring your own bottle(s), we provide the glasses. You are welcome to bring your own CD's or choose from our selection for relaxed listening. Maybe a newly acquired CD with Music from Arran? We offer as well a large library with a wide choice of books you can borrow. You will find also comprehensive literature about the Isle of Arran, as well as detailed maps for walking.

We offer also many board games for your use in long evenings or rainy afternoons. An ideal occasion to make new friends among other Guest House guests. Many games are available either in English and/or German: Monopoly, Risk, Chess, Scrabble, Backgammon and Scotland Yard, just to name a few. We have a few very special ones from our large collection!These games are best played on the tables in the dining room.
